Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Dentals Marketing collects and uses your personal data, and your rights under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).

Last updated: 1 August 2026

Dentals Marketing (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a United Kingdom dental marketing agency providing SEO, local SEO, AI SEO, Google Ads, Meta Ads, Google Business Profile management and website services to dental practices, operating the website at dentalsmarketing.co.uk. Dentals Marketing is the data controller for personal data collected through the Site.

What we collect

We collect information you give us through our forms, such as the free audit request and the contact form, including your name, practice name, email address, telephone number, practice website and the services you are interested in; the content of any message you send us; and technical and usage data collected with your consent through analytics and advertising tools (see Cookies and tracking below), such as pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location and how you interact with the Site. We do not intentionally collect special category data such as health information, and you should not include patient details in general enquiry forms.

How we use it, and our lawful basis

We use your form details to respond to your enquiry, prepare any audit or quote you asked for, and follow up about our services. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and running our business and, where you are becoming a client, the steps needed to enter into a contract. We use analytics and advertising data to understand and improve the Site and to measure and target our marketing; the lawful basis for the cookies and similar technologies involved is your consent, which you give through our cookie banner and can withdraw at any time.

Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies through Google Tag Manager, including Google Analytics 4 (analytics) and the Google Ads tag and Meta Pixel (advertising). These only run after you consent through our cookie banner. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings and can opt out of certain advertising cookies via optout.aboutads.info and Google’s Ad Settings. Full detail is in our Cookie Policy.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers that process it on our behalf under contract, such as our website hosting and email providers, Google (Tag Manager, Analytics, Google Ads) and Meta Platforms (Pixel), together with any customer relationship or enquiry tools we use to manage your enquiry [list your actual processors]. Some of these providers are based outside the UK; where data is transferred internationally it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to respond and, where relevant, for the duration of our working relationship plus the period required for our legal and accounting obligations. Analytics data is retained according to the providers’ standard retention settings. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to our processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.

To exercise any of these rights, email info@dentalsmarketing.co.uk. We will respond within one month, and we may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

How we protect your data

Your form submissions are sent to us over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection and delivered to our enquiry inbox. We limit access to your data to the people who need it to help you, and we hold our service providers to appropriate security standards.

Children

Our services are aimed at dental practices and business owners. The Site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
